Foreword

The practice of management on market principles confirms the undeniable truth that the performance (efficiency) of any production and economic and commercial activity depends primarily on the competence and creativity of administrative staff, quite a deep knowledge of a particular economy, the legislative framework of social aspects of management.

Higher educational establishments are increasingly carried out a multi-level training of economists for different units of management - Bachelor of Economics and Management, specialists, masters of business administration. University curricula include the study of the course "Business Economics" as a basic general economic disciplines for future professionals - economists, because the course covers all major areas of applied economics, organization and effective management at the level of the basic structural unit of social production, provides the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge management market economy at the present stage of its development in Ukraine. Economy of the enterprise is based not only on their own logic and content, but also to the initial position adjacent metologicheskie economic disciplines: economics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, marketing, management, finance, statistics and accounting.

In recent years in Ukraine continued establishment of a market economic system, to actively carry out economic reforms, there were new aspects of the reform of ownership and economic restructuring. This explains the need for a second edition of "Economics of the enterprise", in which the thoroughly revised and supplemented by almost all sections, implemented the new structuring of the textbook. In addition, the tutorial includes several new sections; prompted by life itself: 1) the principles of entrepreneurial activity; 2) technical and technological base of production; 3) economic security of the enterprise (organization); 4) Restructuring and sanitation (financial rehabilitation) of enterprises and organizations; 5) bankruptcy and liquidation of companies (organizations).

The second edition of the textbook corresponds to an improved model program of discipline "Economy of the enterprise" and is intended primarily for students who are studying on undergraduate curricula of economics and management experts. The authors have sought the best possible way to integrate the principles of a sufficiently high scientific level and the availability of the material. A special feature is the extensive use of the textbook illustrations (figures and tables), which is designed to contribute to a better perception and the development of theoretical and methodological guidelines, nature management practices. At the same time, to ensure greater stability of the textbook authors deliberately we avoid attracting particular the statistical information that is rapidly aging and therefore ceases to objectively reflect the realities of production - economic and commercial activity. The digital information is only used to illustrate modern trends in the development of economic processes.

At the beginning of each section carried a list of key terms and concepts, the assimilation of which it is compulsory for students of discipline "Economy of enterprise". Formulated at the end of each section of questions for self-depth study should be used not only for its intended purpose: they can be used for the organization of debates on the theoretical and methodological issues of student research appropriate level studies of certain subjects course and diploma (graduation) work.

The Russian-speaking second edition of the textbook "Economics of Enterprise" significantly modified when compared to the Ukrainian-edition (2000) at the expense of the necessary changes in legal and legal and other measures, a significant expansion of illustrative material. The textbook has been prepared by scientists and professors of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Kyiv National Economic University. Lead author and executive editor was now unfortunately deceased - Dr. Econ. , Professor SF Pokropivny. He wrote also "Introduction to Economics of enterprises", Chapter 1 (§§ 1.1.-1.4), 2 (§ 2.3), 3 (§ 3.4), 5, 7, 8 (§§ 8.1.-8.3, 8.5.- 8.6), 9, 10 (§ 10.3), 11 (§ 11.6), 14 (§§ 14.1.-14.3), 17 (§§ 17.4.-17.5). He complied, and the whole graphic - design work.
