Theory and practice of self-management - Lukashevich NP

PRACTICE 1. SELECTION OF CAREERS

Recall that in the adaptive-developing concept of self-management of a business career, an approach is justified, according to which to achieve success in the business sphere, it is necessary to choose the work for which you were born. As a tool for this choice, a method for evaluating the personality type according to Tiger (TART) 1 is defined. We hope that you did not forget the essence of this technique (see Section 1, pp. 43-46) and even, perhaps, tried, in the very first approximation, to tentatively determine the place of your personality type on each of the four scales:

1) extraversion (E) - introversion (I);

2) sensorics (C) - intuition (H);

3) rationality (P) - irrationality (U);

4) statics (T) - dynamics (D).

Now you are invited to proceed to the refined definition of your personality type. It (definition) will be carried out in such a sequence.

1. Test for the working hypothesis of your personality type.

2. Clarify the signs of your personality type by "applying" to themselves their manifestations.

3. Choosing the type of work most appropriate to your personality type.

4. Selection of a group of professions in accordance with your working merits and shortcomings.

5. The choice of a particular profession (or several professions), the most suitable for the disclosure of your natural gifts.

TEST 2. IN THE WORKING HYPOTHESIS

It is a table of four parts, in each of which - a column of paired words (Table 3).

How to use the test. After comparing each pair of words, choose one of them that most closely matches

Next, we use a shortened and adapted version of the TART method (see Tiger, P., Barron-Tiger, B., ed., Op.).

Your true self. Choose freely - it's not about your merits or demerits. Check the box next to the word you selected in each pair. Do this in each column.

* Latin letters in brackets correspond to the international notation.

To get the result:

1. Calculate the total number of words marked by you in each column and write the resulting figure in the column TOTAL.

2. Circle the upper letter above the column where the largest number of selected words were found.

Example. If you marked 5 words in the column under the letter E and 2 words in the column under the letter AND, you must circle the letter E. 3. The four letters that you circled (E or I, C or H, P or C, T or D), will give you the result of the TART test. Write out these letters.

Now you have an alphabetic code that determines the type of personality that corresponds to you. However, the process of determining its type is much more complicated. This first step allowed you to determine, rather, the working hypothesis of your personality type, which will be further refined in the future.
