Accreditation of journalists

carried out in accordance with the rules of accreditation and stay of foreign funds media correspondents on the territory of the Russian Federation,

approved by the RF Government Decree of 13 September 1994 N0 1055.

The editors have the right to apply to the government agency, organization, institution, body of public association for accreditation of their journalists.

State bodies, organizations, institutions, public associations accredit said journalists subject to editorial offices accreditation rules established by these bodies, organizations, institutions.

Accredited journalists bodies, organizations, institutions must

pre-notify them of meetings, conferences and other events to provide transcripts, minutes and

other documents, create favorable conditions for the production of records.

Accredited journalists have the right to attend meetings, conferences and other events held

accrediting organs, organizations, institutions, except in cases when the decision to hold a private event.

The journalist may be deprived of accreditation if he or edited violated the accreditation rules or disseminated false information, defaming the honor and dignity of the organization that accredited the journalist, which is confirmed by a legally effective court decision.
