CIVIL WEAPONS

- weapons that are intended for use by Russian citizens for self-defense purposes, for sports and hunting.

Civilian firearms exclude the fire in the queues and the store capacity of more than 10 rounds.

GO is divided into:

1) self-defense weapons:

A) long-barreled shotgun firearms, including those with traumatic action cartridges;

B) bulletless weapons of domestic production with cartridges of traumatic, gas and light and sound effects;

C) gas weapons: gas pistols and revolvers, including cartridges to them, mechanical sprayers, aerosol and other devices equipped with tear or irritating substances;

D) electroshock devices and spark

Dischargers of domestic production, having output parameters;

2) sports weapons:

A) a firearm with a rifled barrel;

B) smooth-bore shotgun;

C) cold bladed;

D) throwing;

E) pneumatic with muzzle energy exceeding 3 J;

3) hunting weapons:

A) a firearm with a rifled barrel;

B) Smooth-bore firearm, including the length of the threaded part no more than 140 mm;

C) Combined firearms (rifled and smoothbore), including removable and added threaded barrels;

D) pneumatic with muzzle energy not more than 25 J;

E) cold bladed;

4) signal weapons;

5) cold bladed weapons intended for wearing with a Cossack uniform, with national costumes of the peoples of the Russian Federation.

In the Russian Federation, the following are prohibited: 1) trafficking in the capacity of G. O.: a) long-barreled guns with a magazine capacity of more than 10 rounds, having

The length of the barrel is less than 500 mm and the total length of the weapon is less than 800 mm;

B) firearms having a shape that imitates other objects;

C) fire smooth-bore weapons, made for cartridges for firearms with a rifled barrel;

D) kistenes, brass knuckles, suriken, boomerangs, other objects of shock-crushing and throwing action adapted for use as weapons;

E) cartridges with bullets of armor-piercing, incendiary, explosive or tracing action;

F) weapons and objects, the damaging effect of which is based on the use of radioactive radiation and biological factors, electromagnetic, light, thermal, infrasound or ultrasonic radiation;

G) gas weapons equipped with nerve-paralytic, poisonous and other substances;

H) weapons and cartridges to it, which have technical characteristics that do not meet the forensic requirements of the Russian Federation;

I) fire-arms without weapons

Self-defense, electric shock devices and spark arresters having output parameters that exceed the values ​​of state standards of the Russian Federation;

J) cold bladed weapons and knives, the blades and blades of which are automatically removed from the handle or pulled out by gravity or accelerated movement and automatically fixed, with blade and blade lengths greater than 90 mm;

2) storage or use outside sports facilities of sports firearms with a rifled barrel or sports pneumatic weapon with muzzle energy exceeding 7.5 J and caliber more than 4.5 mm, sport cold bladed and throwing weapons;

3) installation on civilian weapons of devices for noiseless shooting and night vision sights;

4) transfer of weapons;

5) carrying citizens of arms during rallies, street processions and other mass public events;

6) carrying by citizens for self-defense of long-barreled firearms and cold steel;

7) sale, transfer, purchase of arms and cartridges to it, produced for export.

Mandatory certification is subject to the products produced in the Russian Federation, imported to the Russian Federation and exported from the Russian Federation by G.O.'s models and cartridges to it, as well as products that are constructively similar to the weapon.

Certification is carried out

State Committee of the Russian Federation for Standardization, Metrology and Certification.

The certificate is the basis for turnover in the territory of the Russian Federation G.O. and cartridges to it.

The state cadastre of GO and cartridges to it is an official collection containing systematic information about GO and cartridges to it that are allowed to circulate in the RF.

The Cadastre does not include information on cold bladed and throwing weapons, on single copies of GO imported to the territory of the Russian Federation, produced in the territory of the Russian Federation or exported from the Russian Federation.

The cadastre is maintained by the State Standard of Russia. Changes to it are made within 3 months from the date of approval of the list of models of GO and cartridges to it, information about which is entered in the Cadastre and excluded from the Cadastre.
