THE DEPUTY REQUEST.

A member of the Federation Council or a deputy of the State Duma (the initiator of the request) has the right to send a request to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, members of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, the chairmen of other election commissions, chairmen of referendum commissions, heads of other federal bodies State authorities, state authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation and local self-government bodies, as well as the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation, the Federal Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation on issues within the competence of these bodies and officials.

An application of a member of the Federation Council, a deputy of the State Duma is sent by them independently and does not require an announcement at a meeting of the relevant chamber of the Federal

Assembly of the Russian Federation.

The official to whom the request was sent must reply to it in writing not later than 30 days after the date of receipt or in another time agreed upon with the initiator of the request. The answer must be signed by the official to whom the request was sent, or by a person temporarily performing his duties.

The initiator of the request has the right to take a direct part in the consideration of the questions put to them in the inquiry, including in closed meetings of the relevant bodies.

On the day of consideration of the questions put in the inquiry, the initiator of the request should be notified in advance, but not later than 3 days before the day of the meeting of the relevant body.
