PRINCIPLE noninterference in internal affairs

- The principle according to which the state must not interfere, directly or indirectly, for any whatsoever reason, in the internal or external affairs of another State.

Intervention is any action of States or international organizations, which prevent subjects

international law to decide within its jurisdiction of the case. In the event that armed intervention against the personality of the State or against its political, economic and cultural elements, then it is a violation of international law. But if there is a threat to the peace or act of aggression, it can be taken coercive measures.

According to PN no State shall organize, assist, foment, finance, incite or tolerate subversive, terrorist or armed

an activity that aims to change the regime of another State through violence, as well as to interfere in civil strife in another State.

The UN Charter states that the UN has no right to intervene in matters within the domestic jurisdiction of any state or shall require the Member States to submit such matters to his resolution.
