SOCIAL INSURANCE

- An element of the state social security system, which guarantees financial security and social services for citizens.

All working citizens are subject to compulsory SS contributions for the public pay SS:

1) enterprises, institutions and organizations;

2) citizens who use hired labor.

Contributions for pension insurance, in addition to these individuals, pay and working citizens of their earnings.

Non-payment of employer contributions to the SS does not deprive workers of the right to social security.

There are 4 types of S. S .:

1) pension;

2) to provide some benefits;

3) unemployment;

4) medical.

For the citizens of the state's expense provided:

1) temporary disability benefits;

2) old-age pensions;

3) unemployment benefits;

4) disability pensions;

5) survivors' benefits;

6) for years of service.
