Spasovich Vladimir D.
(1829-1906). Brief biography: Spasovich Vladimir Danilovich is an outstanding lawyer and multilateral writer, doctor's son. Born in 1829 in Minsk by the Orthodox father, he studied in Minsk gymnasium with obligatory for all subjects of the Russian language, but education was Polish. From 1845 to 1849 Spasovich St. Petersburg University he attended lectures at the Faculty of Law. At the same time he attended the Russian erudite literary circle Kavelin, and later participated in the edition "Herald of Europe". From 1857 to 1861 Spasovich read in the St. Petersburg University lectures on criminal law. Then he was a teacher of criminal law at the Law School, but soon, ending forever his professorship (1864), he devoted himself to the legal profession and for many years was elected to the council of barristers District St. Petersburg Judicial Chamber. Speaking as a defender, and sometimes civil plaintiff in a number of outstanding criminal cases Spasovich was not only peculiar, deep and talented representative of the legal profession, but also in all his activities taught worthy of careful study of techniques in this field, and the method according to the immediate goals and yet with public tasks of the Bar.
