Members ELECTORAL COMMISSION

- This is the legal status of member of the commission, which consists of a set of rights and duties.

In accordance with Russian law may not be a member of the election commission:

1) persons who do not have Russian citizenship;

partially capable;

3) Russian citizens who have not attained the age of 18

years;

6) judges, prosecutors;

7) on the respective elections - candidates

authorized representatives of electoral associations,

candidates;

9) on the respective election

Term of office of members of the commission be terminated upon the expiration of the powers of the Commission, in which they belong.

Member of the commission may be relieved of his duties before the expiration of their term of office on the decision of the body that appointed him, in the case of:

1. submission to the commission of a written application for resignation;
2. the appearance of the grounds, according to which Russian citizens can not be a member of the commission.

Powers of the Commission shall be terminated immediately in the event of:

1. the loss of a member of the Commission of the Russian Federation citizenship;
2. entry into force in relation to the commission member of a court verdict or decision (ruling) of the court to impose an administrative penalty for violation of the legislation on elections and referenda;
3. recognition of commission members by a court decision which has entered into force, incapable, partially incapable, missing or dead;
4. the death of a member of the Commission;
5. recognition of commission members by a court decision which has entered into force, on the basis of the statement of the commission are not systematically perform their duties;

6) the dissolution of the Commission, in which it is.

The authority has appointed a member of the Commission, shall appoint a new member of the commission to replace the retired not later than within one month, and during the election campaign period from the date of appointment of the referendum and before the end of the referendum campaign - not later than 10 days from the date of his retirement.
