FEDERAL BUDGET

Is the main financial plan of the Government of the federal state for the current fiscal year, having the force of law; The main fund of money resources of the federal Government.

FB is approved by the legislative body (entirely or only partially - by expenditure side) and is the main link of the state budget system.

The main functions of FB are:

1) the redistribution of GDP within a federal state between citizens and between subjects of the federation;

2) state regulation of the economy on a countrywide scale;

3) accumulation of the necessary funds to provide a certain amount and level of public services (for example, national defense, law enforcement, social services, etc.);

4) control over the formation and use of a centralized fund of funds.

In the RF, the main areas of FB expenditures are:

1) public administration;

2) international activities;

3) national defense;

4) law enforcement and security;

5) fundamental research and promotion of scientific and technological progress (NTP);

6) the national economy;

7) protection of the environment and natural resources;

8) socio-cultural needs (health, education, culture, social policy);

9) servicing of public internal debt;

10) financial assistance to other levels of government;

11) budget loans and government loans (loans granted to other governments);
