The self-propelled guns in this plan are certainly more effective than conventional guns, but the general tactic for this type of equipment remained identical - the most thoughtful choice of the firing position, with the possibility of shelling a large sector of space, while the self-propelled gun should remain invisible for the longest time possible to the enemy.

Of course, the number of types of self-propelled guns was enormous, some engineering bureaus were engaged in the development of the fastest machines, some were engaged in increasing the caliber, experiments were conducted on installing self-propelled combat cutters with the ability to rotate. Most of these machines are reflected in the WOT.

The main tactic of the game.

The main idea of ​​tactical actions is already voiced in the first part of the article - the correct choice of position and disguise - the first and most significant for the PT-ACS. Nevertheless, do not neglect the change of position. PT-SAU is the most priority and "tasty" goal for enemy artillery, forget about it not worth it. And to calculate the tracer, it is possible not only from the fire of the enemy ACS. Moreover, some "classic positions" are known to WOT professionals, and preventive shots are not uncommon there.

During the movement, try not to turn the sides and stern to the enemy, most of the World of Tanks PT-ACS are almost not protected from these sides, but they have an impenetrable front armor that will save you many times.

PT-SAU has the most powerful firepower, but in a melee can lose an easy tank, due to its sluggishness. Try to keep the enemy at the maximum distance, if you participate in the attack, then keep behind the main armored group, supporting it with fire. Remember - your task is the longest and longest fire, that is, survival becomes a priority goal.

PT-ACS by country.

Soviet PT.

The branch of the pumping of Soviet ST offers us, perhaps, some of the best anti-tank guns. The first in the branch is the AT-1 machine, which actually determines the entire Soviet armament system in the game. This is a "cardboard", "slow" PT, with a fantastic tool at the same time. With a rate of fire of 30 rounds per minute, a PT can burn an enemy tanker of the same age for just 2 hits, seldom it is necessary to send a third projectile. It is not uncommon for a situation where a successfully located AT-1 is able to "earn a warrior" in half a minute, eliminating an enemy breakthrough in its entirety.

Further development is represented to us by a series of SU (self-propelled units) - SU-76, SU-85B, SU-85 and SU-100. In general, all these machines are very similar - fast and maneuverable Fri, possessing an accurate and armor-piercing, but not very powerful gun. Sniper fire and support for rapid breakthroughs are their destiny. An exception is the remarkable SU-100 machine, which "divides" the branch into 2 parts. As an alternative, the player is offered two guns - a less powerful but quick-firing 100mm gun, and a powerful, but extreme, inaccurate 122mm. Personal preferences are given 100mm, accuracy and rate of fire with equal penetration makes it possible to inflict more damage per minute than a large caliber.

In fact, after this machine, the branch of Soviet PTs is divided into two parts: the first includes heavy and heavy PT- SU-152 , ISU-152 , Object 704 and Object 268 World of Tanks , which are the development of the idea of ​​SU-100 with 122 mm gun. The second branch is "smart" and less powerful, but very effective in the able hands of the machine: SU-100M1 , SU-101 , SU-122-54 , Object 263 . German PT.

The German branch PT-SAU is less diverse, but at the same time quite successfully competes with the Soviet alternative. Rather, even at low levels German technology is more successful, beginning to give primacy only to the 8th levels, but remaining more than successful and popular.

Unlike Soviet PTs - German usually much slower, but like all German technology is accurate, and their firepower is amazing. Panzerjäger I - the starting PT does not have the talents of AT-1, surpassing it only on review, but already Marder - PT-SAU of the third level, is certainly the best car among peers. A huge horizontal sector of shooting and a good weapon, makes this Fri one of the favorite "sand machines."

Hetzer and StuG III - two magnificent "high-explosive PT". The level of their random is usually small, which allows you to destroy half of the opponents "from one hit." The minuses are weak armor, and "blindness", but all this is eclipsed by the enemies that are spreading from one hit.

JagdPz IV is probably the most outstanding German PT-SAM, mainly because of its weak penetration gun, but its accuracy and rate of fire allow you to play quite comfortably on the car.

Jagdpanther - modification of the PT-ACS based on the Panther. The main disadvantage of the car is a high profile, making it noticeable and vulnerable. However, the most powerful weapon for the seventh level makes it possible to easily destroy tanks of the 8th and even 9th levels, and with the use of premium shells and accurate shooting - to be dangerous even for top tanks.

Ferdinand World of Tanks and Jagdpanther II - the only fork in the entire branch, both of which lead to the same result. Ferdinand is a cult German "PT", has thick frontal armor, and a powerful weapon - however, it pays for it at a low speed of movement. Jagpanter 2 - the development of the idea of ​​the first modification, with the gun installed in the rear of the tank. The tank has the highest dynamics, the gun is wonderful, but armor, of course, leaves much to be desired. On the other hand, it is very ricochet, so that not one shell "clinks" flying away.

Jagdtiger - 250 mm frontal armor is not very vulnerable even to the best guns in the game, and the top cannon with a damage of 560, and a breakthrough of 276 mm, is a weighty argument against any machine in the game. However, the "Tiger" base carries with it all the "weaknesses" of the prototype - the "quadrangularity of the hull", which makes ricochets virtually impossible, the thin armor of the sides and stern, sluggishness, and huge dimensions. In general, PT-ACS is very dependent on the skill of the game - the opinion about it is different in different players.

JagdPz E-100 - a huge armored fortress. An analogue of the E-100 tank, but with a ship's 170-millimeter gun installed. One hit from such a barrel is enough for the enemy to panic. Nevertheless, do not forget about the thin lower armored car that you need to skillfully cover, as well as the zero maneuverability of the car, staying one on one with a fast opponent - the JagdPz E-100 is defenseless.

PT-SAU USA.

For today, these are the only PTs in the game that have in their arsenal machines with a rotating turret. In general, the overall impression of American PTs - low levels are weak and helpless, with rare bright "stars", but the TOP-PTs compensate for all the complexity of the start.

Sandy PT - Т82, М8А1, Т40, Т49 and M10 Wolverine - are weak and ineffective. The high speed of some machines is not compensated for by practically "no" weapon, which, in general, determines the game, translating all this technique into "support." The only exception is the T49, the mad speed of this PT (up to 72 km / h) can allow quickly changing positions to become a very dangerous enemy. However, a very small ammunition, combined with a weak gun, does not allow the machine to prove itself.

At the 6th level, Hellkat stands out prominently, great speed, maneuverability, and already a worthy weapon, in skillful hands can cause much harm to the enemy. However, do not try to use this machine as a CT, it is destroyed quickly and easily. Alas, but 9 out of 10 players play it that way.

The best samples of American PTs we find on the 9th and 10th levels. This T-30 is an analogue of the premium T-34 tank with a ship's weapon; it's the T95 World of Tanks - a cult tortoise, PT-SAU with frontal armor of 300 millimeters, and two top-of-the- line T110E3 and T110E4 . Two of these PT - modifications of the top American tank T110E5. At the same time, the E3 development of the idea of ​​a "turtle" with improved dynamics, and the preservation of a powerful armor, and the E4 has a rotating tower of 180 degrees, which makes PT irreplaceable in cities.

PT-SAU France.

In these machines, the trend of American PTs is even more pronounced. A machine of the 4th level - Alecto, already nicknamed Electra in the game world - the classic light PT. The armored car does not carry this arm almost completely, being vulnerable even to machine guns, but a stunning review for the PT and a good choice of weapons compensates for the shortcomings. With the instruments, the trend of the previous level of tactile tactics remains.

The fifth level finally leads us to real British PT. In these machines there is already no place for speed and lightly armored. Churchill Gun Carrier is not hard to guess on the basis of the heavy tank Churchill. Such a legacy carries with it all its known problems - disgusting maneuverability, low dynamics, with non-ergonomic armor. However, such a powerful base made it possible to install an excellent TOP 8-level weapon on the AP, using which it is possible to successfully fight even against cars of 8-9 levels. True until they do not find you.

Machines from 6 to 9 level: AT-8, AT-7, AT-15 and as a crown A39 Tortoise - the prototypes of assault vehicles used to break through defense. The very idea of ​​such a crossing of a heavy tank and PT meant the most powerful frontal armor. In combination with the extremely large-caliber gun that allows you to destroy the reference fire points, often having meter-thick walls of reinforced concrete. Naturally, such machines were designed with minimal mobility and maneuverability, the flanking defense of such tanks was to be provided by infantry and light equipment.

In WOT, this technique has similar parameters. The top guns of these vehicles are extremely dangerous, but if an enemy tank can leave the sector of shelling your "turtles" and impose a melee, the fate of the PT is unenviable.

Created on the basis of the heavy tank FV215, the PT has a similar configuration with the placement of the gun in the rear of the tank. But what a tool! 183 millimeter gun is capable without jokes, the only hit, to destroy tanks of the 10th level, even if the enemy survives, this is in fact equivalent to a direct hit of the top artillery.
