3. Types of organizations for human interaction

At the beginning of the chapter it was noted that the difference between organizations is generated by the nature of the interaction between the individual and the organization as a whole. The basis for this difference is the difference in the priorities of the interacting parties on a number of important organizational variables that characterize this interaction. The key among these variables are those that relate to the organizational culture, namely: value orientations, norms, etc. In Table. 8.3 provides the main characteristics of two types of organizations: the organization of corporate and individualistic types.
