2. Definition of the model of the business person focused on success.

The content of the methodology: the formation of an individual set of personal and business qualities (models) necessary to achieve success in the work chosen by you.

How to use the technique.

Recover in memory (or read for the first time) lists of personal and business qualities presented in comparative descriptions of models offered by different authors (see § 1.2.4).

Choose from them all the qualities and characteristics that you need to carry out your work.

Arrange all selected qualities as indicated in Scheme 2.

As you may have guessed, the totality of all the physiological, psychic and social qualities listed by you represents your model of a business person, that is, the set of qualities and characteristics you need to succeed at work. Completion of the graphs with the words "Other qualities" encourages you not to limit yourself to the qualities listed in the graph, but to supplement them with the qualities that you need for a successful career in your workplace.

Compare your model with a set of strong and weak characteristics of your personality type, which can manifest themselves in the work (see Method 1 of this Workshop).

Scheme 2. The model of a business person

The results of the comparison will help you to distribute the quality of each graph of your business model into three groups (level):

1) high occurrence;

2) the average occurrence;

3) low occurrence.

This distribution gives you an approximate idea of the level of development of your qualities and what qualities (group 1) should be maintained at the achieved level, what qualities (group 2) should be developed and which of the qualities (group 3) should be formed starting with the first steps .

3. Self-evaluation of one's personal and business potential.

The content of the methodology: a system of test techniques for assessing the level of personal and business qualities and characteristics.

How to use the technique.

Choose from your model of a business person one of the qualities that you would like to see available.

Choose from among the test methods proposed below, one that allows you to evaluate the quality you have chosen.

Carefully read the description of the test procedure and try to follow it more precisely when performing the test.

The test results are entered in your model and go on to evaluate the next quality.

In the event that to determine any of the qualities of your model, there is no appropriate test methodology in the following list (and here only the main ones are presented), you should refer to one of the test collections listed in the list of references in this manual.
