PROSTHETIC-ORTHOPEDIC AID.

Prosthetic-orthopedic products are given to all citizens of the Russian Federation who need them free of charge at the expense of the funds that are released from the budget for prosthetics.

The right of extraordinary denture is used by invalids and participants of the Great Patriotic War and equated to them citizens, children and persons who are in hospitals of medical departments of prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises or medical institutions, as well as primary prosthetics.

Providing citizens with all kinds of prosthetic and orthopedic products,

Orthopedic footwear, bicycles, wheelchairs and facilities,

Facilitating the lives of disabled people, is entrusted to the bodies of social security.

Free of charge:

1) hand prostheses, adaptations to hand prostheses, carpal holders, gloves to hand prostheses, leg prostheses, stump covers, orthopedic

Machines, complex orthopedic shoes, corsets, obturators, prosthetic mammary glands, patella, tutors, padded shoes, backholds, recliners, prosthetic supports, leather seats, leather trousers with soles, clothes for the armless - for all citizens of Russia who need them for 2 years ;

2) citizens who receive prosthetic hands and feet:

A) 4 woolen covers on the foot stump, with simultaneous use of the main and additional prosthesis - 5 covers per stump;

B) 3 knitted cotton sweatshirts per hand stump;

C) disabled veterans of the Patriotic War and equated to them citizens with stumps of legs-on 5 woolen covers on the stump, regardless of the number of prostheses available for them of different purposes;

3) one pair of leather or knitted gloves is given free of charge for a hand prosthesis each year, depending on the wishes of the disabled person, to the veterans of the Patriotic War - one of the leather gloves on the warmed lining on the hand of the surviving hand;

4) citizens who receive prosthetic pectoral

Glands, three ligament-fastenings to a prosthesis are given out annually free of charge irrespective of the order of a new prosthesis;

5) complex orthopedic footwear and footwear for orthopedic devices made of black chromium:

A) disabled people of all groups - one pair without a warmed lining and one pair on a warmed lining from a press cloth for a period of one year;

6) children under 16 years old - two pairs, including one pair on a warm lining of press cloth for a period of one year;

B) disabled veterans of the Patriotic War and equated to them citizens suffering from vascular lesions of the lower extremities - one pair of small orthopedic footwear on the warmed lining of press cloth for a period of 1 year;

7) invalids of all groups and children - 2 pairs of shoes for dentures, including at the request of a disabled person with one-sided amputation - one pair of shoes on the insulated lining from the press cloth during the calendar year;

8) bandages and other types of products (medical bandages, crutches, walking-sticks) -individuals of groups I and II, citizens in vocational schools, boarding homes for the elderly and disabled, in

Orphanages for social security systems;

9) all disabled veterans of the Patriotic War and equated to them citizens - medical and hernial bandages;

10) to the disabled veterans of the Patriotic War and equated to them citizens with amputation stumps of the lower extremities - a cane and 2 crutches, a cane and a crutch, or 2 walking-sticks;

11) Bicycles and wheelchairs - disabled war, labor and childhood, retirees by age, as well as children with disabilities under the age of 16, if there is a conclusion of the medical and labor expert commission on the need for a disabled person to have at his disposal a bicycle carriage or a wheelchair from For impossibility of prosthetics or in connection with serious difficulties in using prosthetic and orthopedic products;

12) funds that make life easier for the disabled (bath, toilet, handrails, cooking equipment, etc.) - with the permission of the social security agency that pays for prosthetic and orthopedic products;

13) disabled people after amputation of two hips

A small stroller and to her for free one pair of leather insulated mittens and one pair of woolen covers on the hip stump for a period of one year;

14) disabled people who can not move by themselves on vehicles, wheelchairs.

All other types of prosthetic-orthopedic care are provided for a fee at current prices.

All citizens who receive prosthetic and orthopedic products for free or on preferential terms, repair of prosthetic and orthopedic products are free of charge.

Prosthesis of foreign citizens is carried out for payment of currency at the appropriate rate, taking into account all costs associated with their stay and treatment in the relevant institution, in accordance with the current legislation on export-import transactions.
