PASSIVE ELECTION RIGHT

- the right of a citizen to be elected.

It is given to citizens of this state. Limitations of the right by age are established by the laws of the subjects of the Federation. The minimum age can not be less than 21 years in the legislative bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation, in their executive bodies - 30 years, in elections to local government - 21 years. The maximum age is not set.

They can not be elected:

1) citizens recognized as incapacitated by the court;

2) contained in places of deprivation of liberty. Conditions for the implementation of the law:

1) a certain procedure for nominating a candidate;

2) compliance with the incompatibility condition. The necessary precondition is the possession
