Tundra WOT Tactics Map

More recently, in the open spaces of the World of Tanks game, several locations have appeared, most of which have already been played by players, but the new map called Tundra WOT has proved to be quite interesting in comparison with others.

The new location has an open type and offers players a new autumn area. The landscape of the Tundra is a hilly area with a railway that crosses the entire map, a sawmill on one flank and rocks on the other flank. The size of the map is 800 by 800 meters, and the level of combat is from 4 to 11 inclusive. The whole map is covered with harsh lowlands with water.

Heavy tanks

  • Attack in the extreme part of the swamp ( D4-G4 ). High rocks and stones protect from light and fire. In the event of a successful attack, TT attackers find themselves in the vicinity of the enemy base.
  • Attack in the "Stockings". A row of stones protects from fire from the enemy side. However, proximity to the enemy and regular light exposure cause a strong concentration of fire. A successful attack in "Pants" gives a serious advantage - with a high rock almost the entire card is being fired.
  • Attack on the stream to the west of the "Stock". The rocks protect the fire from the ACS, but the CT from squares D7 and G7 can stand in the way of attacking TT. It should also be taken into account the possibility that the tanks in the "Pants" can meet the attackers at the entrance to this part of the map. In the case of a successful attack, it is possible to encircle and destroy enemies in squares E9-0.

Medium tanks

  • Capture of "Stockings". High speed allows you to occupy the ST position behind the stones at the top of the "Stockings". This allows you to maintain your TT in this zone, as well as fire on tanks in the central part of the map and on the enemy base.
  • Attack in the center. The abundance of shelters protects from fire. In the case of a successful attack, it is possible to hit the enemy in the rear of the "Pants" or arrange a raid on the enemy's base.

Light tanks

  • The abundance of high cliffs and sharp differences in the height of the landscape exclude the maintenance of passive light. However, the rock of "Pants" gives such an opportunity, but it is safe to take its LT only when the opponents are knocked out, that is, the fate of the battle is almost solved.

PT-ACS

  • "Balconies" in squares K9 and B9 - an excellent position for the shelling of "Stockings". However, after their capture by the Allied forces, it is worthwhile to move to the "Pants" themselves - from the rock in the square E8 you can shoot almost the entire map.

ACS

  • The best positions for ACS are squares E2 and H1 . Of these squares, it is best to fire at opponents in "Pants".

Tactics.

In fact, it is not very difficult to determine tactical tricks. At first, it is worth paying attention to the railway, which allows you to quickly get to the enemy base, but first it is not recommended to do battle, most likely you will be destroyed. It is better to use this opportunity near the end of the fight.

Overview of the map of the Tundra.

The main battlefields will be the right and left flanks, which represent a rocky terrain. Also, skirmishes will occur in the central area under the bridge.

The left flank is the area on which the sawmill is located on the upper base and the swampy terrain on the lower base, the entire area is oversaturated with rocky stones that can shield the technique from enemy shots. On both sides there are rocky shelters, besides this is the main place, skirmishes of heavy tanks, and medium tanks with strong tower armor. It is the gorge between the mountains that is the main fighting position. In addition, on the upper base there is a sawmill with structures that provide shelter to the players.

The central area is small enough and has a minimum number of shelters, so the battle there will pass dynamically and quickly. But who will be able to break through in this area can immediately storm the enemy base.

But the right flank is a mountain, which allows from its position to attack any point on the map. Therefore, the most brutal fighting will take place for this region. The road that leads to this point is intersected by rocks that cover the approaches of technology a little. Also from both bases of this flank there are elevations, allowing to attack the entire flank.

Location of equipment on the map or where to go.

So, you are tormented by the question where to go, as soon as you are on this map.

Artillery . The most convenient positions for the shooting of the enemy will be in positions K4, K5, K8, A5, A6, A7.

Anti-tank ACS. Here it is possible to go for already forward moving strings, on 2 lines, 9 lines, or to call allies from casual light in the center on 6 lines.

Heavy tanks.   Hiding from the artillery, the main actions will take place along 1 line and 8 lines, as well as more mobile strings you can go on 2 lines.

Medium tanks. As already mentioned above, the average tanks with a good tower armor can help on the first line allied strands, or on the 8th line to rush under the bridge and waiting for the enemy to strike him in the side. Just a small town on the 2nd line is also a place of battle for medium tanks, for a convenient position.

Light tanks. Well, you can say that it is possible to pass through any line to enlighten, it would be useful, so you can immediately rush through the bridge to lighten all the enemies, and hide under the bridge or into the village in the square D2.


Key points of the Tundra.

The Tundra map in the World of Tanks is a pretty interesting location that does not provide players with full security, almost any flank can attack from any position. This adds dynamism to the battles and the intensity of the movement of technology. The main goal on this map is the elevations on both sides of the map, which will give the initial advantage. It's also worth remembering that in no case should you move alone, as you become an easy target, the best option is to move around in small units. In addition, it is worth keeping closer to the rocks, so as quickly as possible to hide from enemy fire.
