Map Severogorsk WOT tactics and guide

Severogorog is a winter map, its size is 1000 by 1000 meters, the level of fighting is on it from 4 to 11. This card appeared with the release of update 8.7, the working title was "Belogorsk 19". The snow-covered Soviet factory town, divided in two by an ice-bound river, can be captured from various directions, but it shoots perfectly from the surrounding hills offering numerous shelters, firing positions and routes.
The bases are located diagonally, in squares J4 and B7, with the teams starting in two groups, the smaller one at their base and the big one at the short path to the enemy base in squares J9 and B2 respectively. Thus, when traveling, players have a choice - to move in the direction of north-south, to the enemy's base, or west-east - to defend against their base. This map reminds Komarin.

Tactics.

Heavy tanks.

For TT on this map, the two priorities are the most important. The first is forcing your flank (D3 → H3 or G9 → C0), covering themselves with rocks from shooting to the side. The second is storming directly to the enemy base through the river bed (C5↔H6). However, for the successful application of this tactic, a powerful booking of the sides is required, since fire on the attackers will be fired from both flanks.

Medium tanks.

Actions CT in this location are limited to the fact that any direction of the attack anyway shot through the enemy. This does not allow the development of an attack, and, most often, the CT reaches its target, having a critically small margin of safety. However, those located at the entrances to the "balconies" in squares F3 and E8 CT can effectively shine nearby enemies, playing "from the tower" on the bends of the rocks. However, to neglect the opportunity to shoot in the lighted enemies on the opposite side of the map is also not worth it - after all from there you can fire, in time hiding the body behind the folds of the landscape.

Light tanks.

The best positions for passive light with light tanks - bushes on the "balconies" in F7 and D4. Keep in mind that for effective light on these positions, you need a light tank with a good view (390 m and more), preferably with reinforced optics or a stereotube. Also, taking advantage of the reduced visibility of LT, one can fire on its own light.

PT-ACS.

The most optimal positions for PTs coincide with CT positions, because the largest area of the map is swept from them. During the development of the attack, the most advantageous position for the PT will be the points of passive illumination of enemy aircraft: D4 and F7. Being on these points, PT can even shoot enemies, who are behind the enemy circle of capture.

ACS.

The best positions for the art on this map are closer to the corners of the location. These positions allow firing on TT attacks, which turn out to be protected by rocks only from the sides.
That's it, good luck on the battlefield.
