Medication Description: Ferro-Gradument
FERRO-GRADUMENT (Ferro-Gradument) *.
Coated tablets containing 0.525 g (525 mg) of iron (II) sulfate.
Iron sulfate is found in tablets in a special polymer sponge-like mass (graduation), which ensures the gradual release of iron within a few hours after ingestion.
Only a small amount of iron dissolves in the stomach, most of it is released in the intestine, so the drug does not irritate the gastric mucosa.
Indications for use are the same as for other iron preparations (iron deficiency states associated with prolonged bleeding, insufficient absorption of iron from the gastrointestinal tract, increased need for iron ions during pregnancy and other conditions, etc.).
Take tablets on an empty stomach (30 minutes before breakfast). The daily dose for adults is 1 tablet (up to 2 tablets) per day (in 1 or 2 doses.). The course of treatment lasts several months.
Form release: pills in a package of 30 pieces.
Produced in Yugoslavia.
