Medication Description: Psoberanum
The preparation contains furocoumarins - psoralen and bergapten (see), obtained from the leaves of the fig tree (fig) - Ficus carica L., herewith. mulberry (Moraceae).
White or cream with a yellowish or grayish tint powder with a characteristic odor. Practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol.
Indications for use are the same as for other similar furocoumarin preparations (vitiligo, alopecia).
Adults are administered orally daily at 0.01 g 2-3 times a day; children aged 5 to 10 years in a daily dose of 0.01 g, 11 - 13 years - 0.015 g, 14 16 years - 0.02 g
Take 30 minutes before eating. When treating vitiligo, at the same time, depigmented skin areas are lubricated, and in case of alopecia alopecia, hairless areas of the skin with 0.1% alcohol solution of the preparation. Smeared daily, or every other day at night, or 2 to 3 hours before ultraviolet radiation. Before treatment, biodoz is determined.
Duration of a course of treatment 2 - 3 months. If necessary, conduct repeated courses at intervals of 1 - 1, 5 months.
Precautions, possible complications and contraindications are the same as with the use of beroxan.
Forms of release: tablets on 0,01 g on 50 pieces in bottles of orange glass.
Storage: List B. In a dry, dark place.
