Description of the medicine: Psoberanum (Psoberanum)
The preparation contains furocoumarins - psoralen and bergapten (see), obtained from the leaves of the common fig tree (fig) - Ficus carica L., fam. mulberry (Moraceae).
White or creamy powder with a yellowish or grayish tint powder with a characteristic odor. It is practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol.
Indications for use are the same as for other similar furocoumarin preparations (vitiligo, alopecia).
Adults are prescribed orally daily at 0.01 g 2-3 times a day; children aged 5 to 10 years in a daily dose of 0.01 g, 11 - 13 years old - 0.015 g, 14 16 years old - 0.02 g.
Take 30 minutes before meals. In the treatment of vitiligo, depigmented areas of the skin are lubricated at the same time, and in case of alopecia areata, hairless areas of the skin are treated with 0.1% alcohol solution of the drug. Lubricate daily, or every other day at night, or 2 to 3 hours before ultraviolet irradiation. Before starting treatment, a biodose is determined.
The duration of the course of treatment is 2 to 3 months. If necessary, conduct repeated courses at intervals of 1 - 1, 5 months.
Precautions, possible complications and contraindications are the same as with Beroxan.
Method of release: tablets of 0.01 g of 50 pieces in bottles of orange glass.
Storage: List B. In a dry, dark place.
