Description of the medicine: Pinaveria bromide (Penaverium bromide)
PINAVERIA BROMIDE (Penaverium bromide).
4 - [(2-Bromo-4,5-dimethoxyphenyl) methyl] -4- [2- [2- (6,6-dimethylbicyclo [3,1,1] gent-2-yl) ethoxy] ethyl] morpholinium bromide .
Synonyms: Dicetel, Licetil, Dicetel.
It has myotropic and m-anticholinergic antispasmodic properties.
When taken orally, it is poorly absorbed (quaternary compound), C max is 1 h; undergoes biotransformation in the liver, excreted mainly with feces and partially with urine.
Used for dyskinesia of the gallbladder, irritable bowel syndrome, in preparation for an X-ray of the gastrointestinal tract.
Assign inside, with meals and washed down with water (without absorbing and without chewing), 0.05 g 3-4 times a day.
May cause dyspepsia.
The drug is contraindicated in obstruction and atony of the intestine, ulcerative colitis, pregnancy and lactation.
Release form: tablets on 0,05 and 0,1 g (50 and 100 mg) (N. 10, 20).
