Description of the medicine: Iron gluconate (Ferrous gluconate)
GLAND GLUCONATE (Ferrous gluconate).
Synonyms: Apo-Ferrogluconate, Ferrlecite, Ferronal, Apo-Ferrousgluconate, Ferronal.
It is prescribed for iron deficiency anemia and an increased need for iron (pregnancy, breastfeeding, growth period).
Apply intravenously or orally.
Inside (after eating), adults are prescribed 2 tablets (prophylaxis) or 4-6 (treatment) tablets per day; children 1-3 tablets (children under 1 year - 1 teaspoon of syrup) per day.
0.0625 g (1 ampoule) is administered intravenously 1-2 times a day.
Possible side effects: dyspeptic symptoms.
Contraindications: hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, hemolytic anemia.
Release form: tablets on 0,3 g (N. 30, 100); 6% syrup for children in bottles of 110 ml; 1.25% solution for injection in ampoules of 5 ml.
