Description of the medicine: Rotocan (Rotocanum)
A mixture of liquid extracts of chamomile, marigold (calendula) and yarrow in a ratio of 2: 1: 1.
The liquid is dark brown in color with an orange tint, a peculiar smell. During storage, sediment is allowed.
It has a local anti-inflammatory effect, promotes the regeneration of damaged mucous membranes, has hemostatic properties.
Applied in dental practice in adults with inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa (aphthous stomatitis, periodontal disease, ulcerative necrotic gingivostomatitis).
A periodontium is treated with a rotokan after removal of dental deposits and curettage of pathological gingival pockets. Thin turundas, abundantly moistened with a solution of rotokan, are introduced into the gingival pockets for 20 minutes. The procedure is carried out daily or every other day, only 4-6 times. For diseases of the oral mucosa, applications (15 - 20 minutes) or "oral" baths (1 - 2 minutes) are made with a solution of rotokan 2 - 3 times a day for 2 - 5 days.
Before use, 1 teaspoon of the drug is diluted in a glass of warm water.
Release form: in bottles of orange glass on 110 ml.
Storage: in a cool, dark place.
