Medication Description: Liquiriton (Liquiritonum)
The drug contains the amount of flavonoids from the roots and rhizomes of licorice Ural or licorice.
Yellow-brown amorphous powder bitter taste, odorless. It is difficult to dissolve in water and alcohol. Contains at least 55% flavonoids per lucrazide (see also Flacarbin).
Used as a local anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and antisecretory agent for gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer and hyperacid gastritis.
Assign inside of 0.1 - 0.2 g 3 - 4 times a day for half an hour before meals.
The drug is effective mainly in uncomplicated peptic ulcer disease, which manifests itself in secretory-motor disorders. The course of treatment is 20–30 days.
The drug is well tolerated, usually does not cause adverse events.
Form release: pills to 0.1 g.
Storage: in a dry, cool, dark place.
