Description of the medicine: Liquiriton (Liquiritonum)
The preparation contains the sum of flavonoids from the roots and rhizomes of Ural licorice or naked licorice.
Yellow-brown amorphous powder of bitter taste, odorless. It is soluble in water and alcohol. Contains at least 55% flavonoids calculated on lyucurazide (see also Flacarbin).
It is used as a local anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and antisecretory agent for peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum and hyperacid gastritis.
Assign inside 0.1 to 0.2 g 3 to 4 times a day half an hour before meals.
The drug is effective mainly in uncomplicated peptic ulcer disease, manifested in secretory-motor disorders. The course of treatment is 20 to 30 days.
The drug is well tolerated, usually does not cause side effects.
Release form: tablets on 0,1 g.
Storage: in a dry, cool, dark place.
