Flea Grass (Plantago psyllium L.).
An annual wild-growing and cultivated herbaceous plant, fam. Plantain (Plantaginaceae).
Seeds contain a lot of mucus. They are used in folk medicine as a mild laxative that regulates stool, and for catarrhal diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
The action is associated with swelling of the mucus, its enveloping and mild anti-inflammatory properties.
Purified substance Isagbol (Isagbol) is obtained from seeds and their shells abroad (India) and preparations are made from it.
Natur-ker (Nature Sare) * - a powder containing about 50% isagbol and other plant substances.
Assign by mouth to adults 1 teaspoon of the powder 1 to 3 times a day.
Children - 1/2 teaspoon 1 to 3 times a day. Washed down with a glass of water.
Release form: in packing on 100 g.
Storage: in a cool place.
Naturilax (Naturilax) is a powder containing isagbol with citric acid and sodium bicarbonate. Forms an effervescent drink with water.
