A complex preparation made from the juices and decoctions of a number of plants. The tablets contain 16 mg of yarrow (Achillea millefolium), 65 mg of chicory (Cichorium intybus), 16 mg of cassia (Senna) eastern (Cassia occidentalis), 32 mg of black nightshade (Solanum nigrum), 65 mg of the plant Capparis spinosa, calculated on dry matter, 32 mg Terminalia arjuna, 16 mg Tamarix gallica and 33 mg Mandur bhasma.
It is used to improve liver function in infectious and toxic hepatitis, chronic hepatitis and other liver diseases. The drug also increases appetite, improves digestion, and promotes the passage of gases from the intestines.
Assign inside adults 2 to 3 tablets, children 1 to 2 tablets 3-4 times a day.
The drug is usually well tolerated. Dyspeptic symptoms are possible. There is a report on the development of epidermal necrolysis in patients with chronic and acute infectious hepatitis who took Liv-52.
