COTARNINE CHLORIDE (Cotarnini chloridum). 2-Methyl-6, 7-methylene-dioxi-8-methoxy-3, 4-dihydroisoquinolinium chloride.
Synonyms: Stypticin, Cotarninum chloratum, Oxystyptin, Stypticinum, Styptogen.
Light yellow crystalline powder; odorless, bitter taste. Hygroscopic. It is very easily soluble in water (1: 1), easily - in alcohol (1: 2). Solutions (pH 4, 5 - 5, 2) are sterilized at + 100 ° C for 30 minutes.
