Description of the medicine: Sinaflan (Synaflanum)
SINAFLAN (Synaflanum). 6 a, 9 a-Difluoro-16 a, 17 a -isopropylidene-dioxipregna-1, 4-diene-11 b, 21diol-3, 20-dione, or 6 a, 9 a-difluoro-16 a -oxyprednisolone-16 , 17-acetonide.
Synonyms: Fluocinolone acetonide, Flucort, Fluocinolone acetonide, Fluocinoloni acetonidum, Localyn, Synandone, Topiclyn, etc.
Crystalline powder, white or creamy white. Almost insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol.
It is similar in structure to prednisolone, dexamethasone, triamcinolone, but contains two flora atoms in the molecule at positions C (6) and C (9).
It is the active principle of the Sinaflan ointment, similar in principle to the active principle and therapeutic effect of the ointment << Sinalar >> (Synalar).
Sinaflan ointment 0.025% (Unguentum Synaflani 0.025%). The ointment is light yellow (to yellow).
It is used for local inflammatory skin diseases, for itching, allergic diseases of the skin and mucous membranes, eczema, limited psoriasis, etc.
Apply a thin layer to the affected areas 2-3 times a day, rubbing gently into the skin. Due to the low absorption of Sinaflan, the drug, when applied topically, does not have a significant overall effect on the body.
Sinaflan ointment (like other glucocorticosteroids) is contraindicated in tuberculous, fungal, syphilitic and viral skin diseases, skin reactions after vaccination. It should not be prescribed for the treatment of eye diseases. Long-term use of the drug, especially in large areas of the skin, is not recommended; it should also not be used in large areas of affected skin in children.
Release form: in aluminum tubes of 10 or 15 g.
Storage: List B. In a cool, dry place.
An ointment containing 0.025% fluocinolone acetonide (Sinaflan) is sold abroad under the name << Sinalar >>.
For the treatment of skin diseases accompanied by infection, << Sinalar-N >> (<< Sunalar-N >>) is also available, containing 0.025% of sinalar and 0.5% of neomycin sulfate.
The ointment << Flucinar >> is similar to the ointment of sinaflan.
