ALLYLESTRENOL (Allylestrenol). 17 a-Allyl-4-zsten-17 b-ol.
Synonyms: Turinal, Gestanin, Gestanol, Gestanon, Gestanyn, Orageston, Turinal.
Oral gestagenny drug. Well absorbed when taken orally.
Applied with habitual and threatening abortions and with the threat of a premature birth.
Assign inside with the threat of premature pregnancy in the first half of pregnancy, 1 tablet (5 mg) 3 times a day for 5 to 10 days, then the dose is gradually reduced to 1 tablet 2 times a day for 5 days. After that, for 2 weeks, appoint 1 tablet 1 time per day. In the second half of pregnancy, in the first 7 days, 2 tablets are administered 3 times a day, the next 7 days - 1 tablet 3 times a day, then 1 tablet 2 - 1 times a day.
With habitual abortion, 1 to 2 tablets are prescribed per day for 1 month after the critical moment (usually before the V month of pregnancy; if previous abortions happened in the IV or V month of pregnancy, it is recommended to use the drug before VI or VII months).
Product form: tablets of 0.005 g (5 mg) in a package of 20 pieces.
