Description of the medicine: Bisecurin (Bisecurin)
The combined preparation containing gestagen - ethinodiol diacetate and estrogen - ethinyl estradiol.
Ethinodiol is a highly active oral acting progestin, and ethinyl estradiol (see) is a highly active oral acting estrogenic agent.
Bisecurin is available in tablets containing 1 mg of ethinodiol diacetate and 0.05 mg of ethinyl estradiol.
Synonyms: Demulen 50, Neomulen, Ovulen 1/50.
Used as an oral contraceptive, as well as for the treatment of dysmenorrhea, uterine hypoplasia, genital endometriosis.
When used as a contraceptive, the relatively high content of estrogen in the preparation (50 μg of ethinyl estradiol) should be taken into account.

Release form: tablets in packing on 21 pieces in a plastic film with calendar divisions (for 21 days for observance of accuracy of reception).

The drug Demulen 1/35, unlike Demulen 50, contains 1 mg of ethynodil and a reduced amount of ethinyl estradiol (35 μg).
