Medication Description: Bisecurin (Bisecurin)
The combined preparation containing gestagen - ethynodiol diacetate and estrogen - ethinyl estradiol.
Ethinodiol is a highly active oral progestin, and ethinyl estradiol (see) is a highly active oral estrogen agent.
Biseurin is available in tablets containing 1 mg of ethynodiol diacetate and 0.05 mg of ethinyl estradiol.
Synonyms: Demulen 50, Neomulen, Ovulen 1/50.
Used as an oral contraceptive, as well as for the treatment of dysmenorrhea, uterine hypoplasia, genital endometriosis.
When used as a contraceptive, you should consider the relatively high content of estrogen in the preparation (50 μg of ethinyl estradiol).

Form release: tablets in a package of 21 pieces in a plastic film with calendar divisions (on day 21 to maintain the accuracy of the method).

The drug Demulen 1/35, in contrast to Demulen 50, contains 1 mg of ethynodil and a reduced amount of ethinyl estradiol (35 µg).
