CALCIUM GLUTAMINAT (Calcii glutaminas).
Calcium salt of glutamic acid.
White crystalline powder bitter-sour taste. Soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol. Solutions (pH 5, 2-6, 5) are sterilized at a temperature of + 100 ° C for 30 minutes.
Applied (along with glutamic acid) for mental disorders due to cerebral atherosclerosis, post-traumatic epilepsy, presenile psychosis, tuberculous meningitis (in the acute period and in the treatment of residual effects), in the acute period of arachnoencephalitis and poliomyelitis, in case of arachnoencephalitis and poliomyelitis
Assign adults inside 20 to 50 ml of 10% solution 3 times a day, children up to 3 years old - 5 ml each, from 3 to 5 years old - 10 ml each, from 5 to 10 years old - 15 ml each; over 10 years old - 20 - 30 ml 3 times a day. Accept within 4 - 6 months; treatment, if necessary, repeat after 2 - 3 months.
Adults are injected into a vein in 10 ml of a 10% solution daily or every other day (for the first time, no more than 3 - 5 ml). Children up to 3 years old are given 2 ml each, from 3 to 5 years old - 3 ml each, from 5 to 10 years old - 5 ml each, over 10 years old - 10 ml each (for the first time, 1 - 2 ml less than the indicated doses are administered) . The course of treatment consists of 15 - 20 injections.
