Description of the medicine: Sanasolum (Sanasolum)
Composition: potassium chloride 60%, potassium citrate, calcium gluconate and ammonium chloride 10% each, magnesium asparaginate and glutamic acid 5% each.
It has the taste of table salt and is used to improve the taste of food with contraindications for sodium chloride. At the same time, due to the presence of potassium salts it is used to reduce hypokalemia in the treatment of patients with hypertension and heart failure, mainly with poor tolerance of cardiac glycosides and saluretics. It is also used for chronic and acute nephritis with renal failure syndrome (without hyperkalemia).
Sanasol is added to food (usually in main dishes) immediately before use. The daily dose of 1, 5 - 2, 5 g; in the treatment of hypokalemia - up to 5 g.
Contraindications to use are severe renal failure and hyperkalemia. Caution is prescribed for peptic ulcer of the stomach, duodenum and gastritis. Storage: in tightly closed packaging in a dry place.
