Zachariah 14

Previous chapter Index
1 Here comes the day of the Lord, and they will divide the loot among you among you.
2 And I will gather all the nations for the war against Jerusalem, and the city will be taken, and the houses will be plundered, and the wives will be dishonored, and half the city will be captured; but the rest of the people will not be exterminated from the city.
3 Then the Lord will come out and take up arms against these peoples, as he took up arms on the day of battle.
4 And His feet will be that day on the Mount of Olives, which is in the face of Jerusalem eastward; and the Mount of Olives will be split from east to west by a very large valley, and half of the mountain will go to the north, and half of it to the south.
5 And you will flee to the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will stretch to Asil; and you will flee, as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah; and the Lord my God and all the saints will come with him.
6 And it will be that day: there will be no light, the stars will be removed.
7 This day will be the only one, known only to the Lord: neither day nor night; only in the evening will the light come.

eight And it will be that day, living waters will flow from Jerusalem, half of them to the east sea and half of them to the western sea: in summer and winter it will be so.
nine And the Lord will be King over all the earth; that day the Lord will be one, and His name is one.
ten All this land will be like a plain, from Gibeon to Remmon, south of Jerusalem, which will stand high in its place and populate from the gates of Benjamin to the place of the first gates, to the corner gates, and from the tower of Anameil to the royal sharpeners.
eleven And they will live in it, and the curse will be no more, but Jerusalem will stand safely.
12 And this is the defeat that the Lord will strike at all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: everyone will dry up his body while he is still standing on his feet, and his eyes will melt in his pits, and his tongue will dry out in his mouth.
13 And it will be that day: between them a great confusion from the Lord will happen, so that one will seize the other's hand, and his hand will rise on the hand of his neighbor.
fourteen But Judah himself will fight against Jerusalem, and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered: gold, silver and clothes in great numbers.
fifteen There will be the same defeat of horses, and hinnies, and camels, and donkeys, and every kind of cattle that will be in their camps.

16 Then, all the rest of all the peoples who came against Jerusalem will come year after year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to celebrate the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it will be: if some of the tribes of the earth does not go to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, then there will be no rain among them.
18 And if the Egyptian tribe does not rise on the road and does not come, then it will not have [rain] and will suffer its defeat, as the Lord will amaze the nations that do not come to celebrate the feast of Tabernacles.
19 This is what will be for the sin of Egypt and for the sin of all nations that will not come to celebrate the feast of tabernacles!
20 At that time, even on horseback dresses, it will be [inscribed]: “A shrine to the Lord”, and the cauldrons in the house of the Lord will be like sacrificial cups in front of the altar.
21 And all the cauldrons in Jerusalem and Judea will be the shrine of the Lord of hosts, and all those who offer sacrifice will come and take them and cook in them, and there will be no more Canaanites in the house of the Lord of hosts that day.
