|1||And the Lord said unto Moses, saying:|
|2||say to the sons of Israel: if a woman conceives and gives birth to a male, she will be unclean for seven days; as in the days of suffering by her purification, she will be unclean;|
|3||on the eighth day his foreskin is cut off from him;|
|4||and she must sit thirty-three days, being cleansed of her blood; it should not touch anything sacred and should not come to the sanctuary until the days of its purification are fulfilled.|
|5|| If she gives birth to a female, then during her purification she will be unclean for two weeks, and for sixty-six days she must sit, cleansed of her blood.
|6||At the end of the days of her purification for her son or daughter, she must bring a one-year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or Streptopelia sacrifice for sin at the entrance of the tabernacle of congregation to the priest;|
|7||he will bring it before the Lord and cleanse her, and she will be clean of the flow of her blood. Here is the law of the male or female who gave birth to [infant].|
|eight||If she is not able to bring the lamb, then let him take two Streptopelia or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering, and the other as a sacrifice for sin, and the priest will cleanse her, and she will be clean.|
