A sudden loss of consciousness is accompanied by cramps and the release of frothy fluid from the mouth. The face turns blue, the pupils do not react to light. Duration of seizure 1-3 minutes, often involuntary urination, defecation.
First aid. Do not hold the patient during convulsions and move to another place. Under the head, you should put something soft, unzip the clothes, put a folded handkerchief between your teeth, a coat edge and so on. After convulsions, transport the patient home or to a hospital (see Chap. Mental diseases).
