Do not force yourself, just follow the rules of nutrition
Nutrition (physiological act) - maintaining human life and health through food - the process of absorbing food by living organisms to maintain the normal course of physiological processes of vital activity, in particular, to replenish energy stores and implement growth and development processes. Animals and other heterotrophic organisms must eat to survive; their diet and the process of absorption of nutrients depends on the biological class to which they belong. In humans and animals, food is a common daily activity.
The normal course of life processes in the body depends largely on how the person’s nutrition is organized from the first days of life. Food should contain proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, as well as water in the required quantities. At the same time, the need for the total quantity and balance of individual nutritional components primarily depends on the age, type of work activity and living conditions. The physiological (rational) nutrition is usually understood as the norms that fully cover all the energy inputs of the body, and for children also provide the processes of growth and development. The amount of energy released during the assimilation by the body of a substance is called the caloric content of this product. Nutrient digestibility is different. From mixed foods, proteins are absorbed by 92%, fats - 95%, carbohydrates - 98%. As noted by the OECD and FAO (2014), cereals are still the main product in the diets of the world’s population, but in many regions, as a result of rising household incomes and urbanization rates, the proportion of protein foods, fats and sugar increases.
Under the conditions of a modern lifestyle, under the influence of advertising attacks of unhealthy “food”, there is no reason to talk about normal nutrition. Just as you do not have to talk about the natural state of consciousness of people. Therefore, nutritional rules that restore immunity are absolutely necessary.
1. Eat to live, not live, to eat
Nutrition is not an end in itself, but a means to an end. Aware of the Higher Meaning of life and its purpose, you need to eat only useful products that contribute to the acquisition of the necessary physical and mental qualities for effective action on the Path to achieve the Highest Goal.
2. Hunger is true, and appetite is a lie
Appetite is the desire to eat something delicious. And hunger is, on the one hand, readiness to eat any food (as, for example, after a long walk in nature or after strenuous physical labor) and, on the other hand, an exact knowledge of what kind of food the body currently needs (high-calorie or vitamin E , sweet or salty, liquid or solid, ordinary or unusual - chalk or salt, for example, etc.).
Appetite is the result of long-dissolute feelings and the absence of their willful humility. Nutritional concern or appetite may also be associated with an unconscious desire to "disconnect" from stressful influences, distracting with taste. Similarly, other desires may arise that are not justified by the real needs of the body, such as the desire for sex, etc. This is usually associated with mental overloads of the modern lifestyle.
Animals eat only when they feel hunger. And man, corrupted by abundance, has long been an exception to this rule of nature.
Exposure and composure in any life situation free from obsessive addictions and allow you to live with the preservation of the natural motivations of the body, reaching a full hunger.
In a state of hunger, the exact intuitive knowledge of the quality of the product needed by the body is born. Feeding on hunger in a short time eliminates "excess weight", helps to cleanse toxins and returns the natural health to old age. In this case, food is only for real needs.
It is necessary to stop eating before reaching the feeling of fullness and fullness of the stomach. Having filled the stomach to half, one quarter of its volume should be left for water and one quarter for free movement of digestible food and expanding gases in it.
Often the process of digestion is accompanied by a large expenditure of energy from its already existing stock in the body. In cases of over-eating or feeding with hard-to-digest food, a situation often arises when the amount of energy obtained from a portion of food is comparable to the amount of energy consumed by the body for its digestion. Usually in such cases, a person after a meal becomes sleepy, lazy, and long after eating feels fatigued. In addition, overeating is a "shock" load for the digestive organs and leads to their diseases.
Reducing the amount of food consumed by people partially solves the ecological problem of conservation of nature resources, limiting its excessive use and allowing it to recover.
3. How to drink - and live
The human body is largely composed of water. And the metabolism depends on its quantity and quality. By controlling the drinking regimen, you can have a significant impact on the internal rhythms and condition of the body.
Many people think that they get fat from a lot of water and try to drink as little as possible. In fact, they do not get fat from water, but from taking too much salt with food, which retains water in the body.
Water is the juice of life. And without enough water, plants, for example, dry up. Or vice versa - they bloom when they have enough water. Man, of course, is not a plant, but his metabolism also depends on the necessary amount of water in the body.
In addition, people become overweight due to an imbalance in the balance of consumption and energy consumption - the amount of food eaten and the calories consumed for active physical and mental activity.
In countries with a temperate climate, the body's daily need for water is 1.5-2 liters in winter and 2-3 liters in summer.
By controlling the drinking regime, you can influence the emergence of feelings of hunger. And depending on the individual lifestyle and circumstances, it is possible to provoke its early emergence or, on the contrary, the later arrival. So, if it becomes clear that the opportunity to eat will appear at a strictly defined time and then there will be no such opportunity, and hunger is unlikely to come by this time, then you can stimulate its appearance by drinking half a glass of water every 15-20 minutes. Then hunger will come faster. If, on the contrary, hunger has already appeared, and there is no possibility to eat yet, then you should not drink water at all. Or you can drink a little brew of herbs. This dulls the feeling of hunger before the possibility of eating.
In any case, it is better to drink half an hour before eating half a glass of water or a brew of herbs. And after eating, drinking water or tea leaves and washing the mouth and esophagus, one should limit its amount in order to avoid diluting the gastric juice and worsening digestion.
4. Solid food - drink, and liquid - eat
In the process of digestion, the interaction of food with saliva is important. Saliva is an active biochemical substance that is absolutely necessary for the full digestion of food. And in order for it to stand out and participate in the process of digestion, solid food must be chewed to a state of liquid mixture with saliva, without remaining un-chewed food pieces. And liquid food (milk, soups, compotes, juices, decoctions of herbs, etc.) do not need to be in a hurry to swallow, but first to do “tasting” movements with the tongue and jaw, mixing food with saliva. Only after that you can swallow it.
Washing food with water does not replace the digestive function of saliva, dilutes gastric juice and does not contribute to proper digestion.
5. Enjoy the empty belly
You need to live, keeping calm. And when you eat - no need to rush or strive to eat more, even if you eat a delicacy. Food should remain in the mouth until its taste is felt. This technique allows you to get the maximum taste sensations from a minimum of food. Using this technique, you can, on the one hand, enjoy taste sensations for a long time and, on the other hand, enjoy a third part of the usual amount of food. Since the saturation of brain centers depends on the number of received signals from receptors of the oral cavity, teeth, etc., and not on the feeling of fullness of the stomach. This technique allows you to avoid overeating, slagging and obesity.
6. Do not chase after two hares.
What is being done without distraction is performed much more qualitatively than what is accompanied by “parallel” activity.
No need to combine food with something that distracts attention from her. For example, with reading, conversation, watching TV, etc. When distracting attention, brain centers do not receive enough information signals about the quality and quantity of food consumed. This leads to insatiability, poor chewing, improper combination of products and overeating with all the ensuing consequences.
While eating, you need to think about food, about its wonderful qualities, benefits and enjoyment that it bestows, receiving joy and a maximum of positive emotions. Eating is an indivisible ritual, a prayer to the Highest Ideal.
7. Morning begins in the evening.
No need to eat less than 4 hours before bedtime. And better - for 7 hours before bedtime. This will seem strange to many. But for such a proposal there are a number of serious reasons.
First, the food is normally digested and moves in the stomach and intestines, only while the person is awake and moving. And most importantly, while his body is in an upright position, the direction of the gravitational component contributes to the easy movement of food in the intestine. If you eat before bedtime, during sleep, when all vital processes are inhibited, the gravitational component, directed perpendicular to the body of a person lying, does not help the movement of food in the intestine, which leads to its stagnation and fermentation, slagging of the body, formation on the walls intestinal fecal stones, an increase in intestinal and abdominal volume, worsening of intestinal motility, development of diseases of the digestive organs, poor sleep and inadequate recovery overnight. And in the morning - to a difficult awakening, puffiness, bad breath and other complications.
And secondly, the proposed meal time before bedtime is associated with the actual speed of digestion of certain foods. The carbohydrate food (vegetables, fruits, cereals, etc.) is completely digested and passes through the intestines in about 4 hours. A protein food (meat, beans, nuts, etc.) - for 7 hours.
Generally, to stimulate a powerful metabolism, increase endurance, physical strength, improve health and increase longevity is the best food once a day - during the day.
Not a single person, if he is not sick or “crippled” by civilized habits, will not feel like eating in the morning - right after sleep. A weak need for food may appear no earlier than one hour after waking up, but it doesn’t look like a famine, which really takes effect no earlier than 4 hours after sleep, or even later. The next feeling of hunger rarely appears before sleep. And what causes people to be constantly “preoccupied with food” is, as a rule, not hunger, but a reaction to stress in modern living conditions.
8. Do not force yourself
Violence against oneself is as destructive as with other people.
You should never make "sudden movements" in life, and it is much more useful to soften contrasts.
If it became necessary to change the usual diet and exclude some food from it, then it is better to do it smoothly and gradually so that the metabolism has time to change and the “pressure” of habits has decreased.
One should never restrict one's habits immediately, by hard willed prohibitions and suppression (violence). This approach is aimed at combating the investigation, not the cause.
The strong-willed prohibition does not eliminate the roots of habits (addictions), but, on the contrary, feeds and strengthens them. When he acts against a habit, then (action is equal to counteraction) the blocks in memory, which keep “attributes” of habit, are fed by the energy of attention and strengthened. This leads to an increase in the strength of the desire to eat the forbidden product (like the water of the river on which the dam was set, but its source has not dried up). Such an erroneous approach will sooner or later lead to an “explosion” and overeating of the forbidden product in quantities much more than if a person continued to eat it as usual.
Habits are kept in memory. First of all, you should act at the level of attention management.
If attention is returned to memory blocks containing sensory information about the taste of products to which the habit (or addiction) is formed, then it should be quietly, gently and unobtrusively distracting from these blocks and switching to something else, without a trace of memories. Without energizing attention, information in memory weakens and fades away (the source of the river dries up). So you need to gradually replace old habits with new ones in your memory, containing information that this food is not for you and it is not edible at all, like straw or earth. Such changes in consciousness require some time and active self-education, but this is a sure path to success.
9. Purity is a sign of divinity
To maintain health, it is absolutely necessary to maintain not only external but also internal purity, which largely depends on the quality of food and water, as well as on the processes of natural and special body cleansing.
Any car owner is well aware that her work depends on the purity of gasoline, oil and air in the engine. And of course, he knows that the service life directly depends on the content of foreign particles in the engine crankcase oil, and its power is determined by the quality of gasoline. But the fact that the human body just needs clean fuel, lubrication and regular preventive cleaning is, for some reason, difficult for many to understand. They smoke, drink, take drugs, waste life force through sex, eat foods that by natural criteria are not food at all, etc. They have no time or laziness. They just have no time to love themselves, but they have time to strive for what is prestigious (but stupid). But a living organism needs much less than a car, because it is much more economical and itself fights for itself. It has self-cleaning and self-healing mechanisms. And if at least he does not interfere, then it will not be necessary to change the details for many years. And if he is helped a little, he will "serve faithfully" to a great age.
In the Tradition of Yoga, there is a wealth of experience in cleansing activities for restoring, healing and strengthening the body, which in the World is borrowed by everyone who deals with healing, from enthusiastic singles to major medical corporations that cultivate rehabilitation methods. Currently, a lot of special and popular literature has been published, where you can find answers to all the questions about special methods of cleaning the body.
As for the natural self-purification of the body, then you need to introduce a regular rule to make every week a full fast from 24 to 48 hours. During this period, all the digestive organs rest well, self-purify and recover. This fasting is better to spend on weekends, when there is an opportunity to avoid stressful situations and control the state of mind, that is, to be calm. In order to better purify and normalize metabolism, starvation can be accompanied by drinking water or decoction of herbs.
In special cases, fasting can be “dry,” that is, without drinking at all.
If the body is very clogged and weakened, there are diseases of internal organs and the metabolism is already disturbed, then this can be remedied by prolonged starvation - from 3 to 50 days. But this can be done only after preliminary detailed theoretical training and under the guidance of specialists.
Speaking about the purity of food and the purity of consciousness, one must remember not only the purity of food, but also the purity of the ways of obtaining food. The purity of the “subtle” cause-and-effect plans of human existence depends on it.
10. What do you eat - you are
An organism is formed from those elements that enter it. And he acquires the qualities of the same elements.
Eat only fresh, clean, palatable, lively, vitamin-rich, and energy-rich foods. Forget about the fact that in the West, people with experience have long been called “junk food” (“junk food” or “Empty calories”) - about all these chips, hamburgers, canned sausages, mayonnaise, etc.
It is foolish to strive to consume in large quantities expensive and scarce, and therefore "prestigious" products. After all, it does not feed the body, but a self-asserting sense of its own exclusiveness. Benefit for the body from such products, as a rule, no, more often - one harm.
Many in the world have already begun to understand what is truly prestigious - to be healthy and strong, to look beautiful and to always feel good.
By controlling the diet, you can consciously influence the formation of your body, the state of feelings, consciousness and cause-and-effect relationships (Fate). This is a fact proven by centuries and practical experience of many natural scientists.
11. Do not combine incompatible
Digestion of various products occurs due to various biochemical reactions: acidic or alkaline. The combination of such products in one meal leads to acid-base neutralization and the formation of useless salts, which significantly complicates the process of digestion.
In order to avoid such phenomena, it is necessary to consider the compatibility of products in one meal. For this, many special compatibility theories have been developed. As an example, a table of product compatibility is presented, compiled by Andrei Sidersky on the basis of the work of Venceslav Evtimov, a Bulgarian author of books on Yoga, and other literary sources.
- Starchy vegetables: potatoes, old carrots, old beets, pumpkins, turnips, rutabagas, etc.
- Cereals: grains, cereals, flour and products with its content, sprouted cereals.
- Poorly starchy vegetables: herbs, young root vegetables, white roots, cabbage, lettuce, radishes, radishes, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.
- Protein products: legumes, nuts, eggs, caviar, etc.
- Fresh berries and fruits.
- Dairy products, except ghee.
- Meat and fish (preferably gradually excluded from the diet).
- Vegetable fats and ghee.
- Melons and bananas.
- Chocolate and cocoa (in limited quantities with large expenditure of energy).
- Dried fruits.
12. “No dogm” - says the first dogma
Determining the mode and diet, you should, of course, take into account all the above prescriptions and rules, but you should never forget to focus primarily on well-being and be guided by an intuitive sense of common sense.
