UPD: 07/24/2014 The third stage of partial mobilization is carried out in order to maintain the state’s defense capability and complete the anti-terrorist operation
Today, July 24, in the official publication of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine - the newspaper "Voice of Ukraine" the law of Ukraine "On approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine" On Partial Mobilization "was published.
The need for the third stage of partial mobilization is due to the urgent tasks of maintaining the defense capability of the state and completing the anti-terrorist operation.
The first two “waves” of partial mobilization made it possible to understaff 53 military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 18 units of other military formations to the wartime states, which made it possible to create units of troops and forces adequate to the level of threat for March-June of this year, to strengthen the protection of the state border in the directions , where fighting is taking place today, to prevent the invasion of regular troops of the Russian Federation on continental Ukraine from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, from the north and east of the country, as well as Transnistria direction.
At the same time, in recent weeks, the visible successes of the anti-terrorist operation have led to a change in tactics on the part of the Russian Federation and the terrorists it supports. Under such circumstances, in order to maintain the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military units to carry out combat missions within the framework of the ATO, increasing the units of troops and forces to repel a possible invasion, as well as the planned regrouping of personnel, the third stage of partial mobilization is carried out.
A system of replenishment of an incomplete staff will also be created, a strengthened echelon of state border protection, increased forces and means of territorial defense, which will strengthen components for technical cover of facilities, transport infrastructure and its restoration. This mobilization will focus on providing units that support the army.
According to the Decree, mobilization is carried out on the territory of Vinnitsa, Volyn, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kiev, Kirovograd, Lugansk, Lviv, Nikolaev, Odessa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkov, Kherson, Kherson, Kherson , Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv regions, the city of Kiev. " The conscription will be carried out in all the indicated areas in proportional volumes.
The third stage of partial mobilization provides 45 days for mobilization. This is a certain period of time during which, according to the Law of Ukraine “On mobilization training and mobilization”, local government bodies through military commissariats call on military men and technicians of the national economy to staff military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military units in wartime .
That is, during these 45 days, the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard of Ukraine, and border guards will be able to understaff those parts that are necessary today in order to oust the Russian terrorists from Ukraine who are now occupying our cities and killing civilians.
Important! The term of 45 days does not apply to the period of stay in the military service of servicemen called up for mobilization, but only applies to the draft mechanism for military service.
